In this decisive decade for climate action, the transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy requires more than policy commitments. It also depends on bridging knowledge and practice - and turning both into action.
In this spirit, alongside the participation of its experts in relevant sessions, the UEH Sustainable Finance Institute (SFI–UEH) will serve as an Official Community Partner of Vietnam Climate Week 2026 - a multi-stakeholder platform bringing together policymakers, private-sector leaders, development organizations, research institutions, and communities working to advance Vietnam’s Net Zero ambitions.
Taking place from 19 to 22 October 2026 across Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho, Vietnam Climate Week 2026 will feature more than 55 sessions and over 60 speakers.
Co-organized by New Energy Nexus Vietnam, SNV, and World University Service of Canada (WUSC), in close coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Finance, and a coalition of partners, Vietnam Climate Week 2026 fosters strong nationwide collaboration and wide-ranging cross-sector impact.
As an Official Community Partner, SFI will help connect academic communities, experts, and other stakeholders with discussions on climate, finance, and sustainable development. The participation of SFI experts in selected activities during the Week will provide a practical channel for the Institute to share its expertise, connect research with real-world practice, and engage with the needs and challenges businesses face as they adapt to climate change.
This partnership also reflects how SFI advances its mission to disseminate knowledge and promote practice in sustainable finance and sustainable development. Beyond teaching and academic inquiry, SFI works through applied research, training, advisory services, and stakeholder engagement to bring expertise closer to real-world needs and help advance practical sustainable development solutions.
From Knowledge to Action
Vietnam Climate Week 2026 will address several key dimensions of Vietnam’s climate transition:
Four cities, four areas of focus, and one shared goal: to strengthen collaboration and turn climate commitments into concrete action.
For SFI, every connection among researchers, businesses, policymakers, and financial institutions is an opportunity to bring research findings and specialist knowledge closer to practice - and to bring real-world challenges back into research, education, and advisory work. This two-way exchange helps shape solutions that are grounded in evidence and designed for practical application.
We look forward to meeting partners, experts, businesses, researchers, and communities at Vietnam Climate Week 2026!
